Terms & Conditions of STIC INFOTECH !

This agreement is made between: STIC INFOTECHAND

The student or Course attendee or Company’s authorized representative (named on the invoice)

  1. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, STIC INFOTECH reserves the right to change the course start date by giving 5 (five) days notice to the course attendee(s)
  2. All the fees must be paid in full at least 1 (one) week prior to the course start date, this is due to high demand for certain courses and our strict policy of a maximum of 15 students per class in order for the lectures to have more attention on the course attendees
  3. Once a module or course has started no refund will be given, for this reason, STIC INFOTECH strongly advises the course attendees or companies to check the modules taught for each course or have a discussion about the course with the course co-coordinators in advance.
  4. Customers have a right to claim a refund if applied for and received in writing within 5 days of the course starting date. This does not apply for courses starting within a week of enrolment. An administration charge fees (20% of Total Fee) is applicable if the refund is approved. Refund process would take up to 28 days
  5. If the student enrolled for the discounted package or bundle course. No refund will be given if the student commences any of the courses included in that discount bundle package. Student has the option to take different courses within the price limit (classroom/Online/substitute to available exams at our center) at any time within 1 year of enrolment (Need to book the courses in advance). This can be extended under management discretion.
  6. International students refund and reschedule policy.

Once the student is enrolled for the course (Full course fee has been paid), we will confirm the enrolment and provide the necessary documents where necessary. If students need to cancel/reschedule the lesson, they must inform us in writing in 14 days before the commencement of the course.

  1. Customers have the right to change the start date by providing a minimum of seven days’ notice, in writing or via email. Any requests received after this date, may not be processed. This is due to reserved seats and limited space.
  2. STIC INFOTECH reserves the right to refuse access to any course attendee who has failed to make the full payment on time.
  3. If the student or course attendee misses a class, STIC INFOTECH will not ‘repeat’ the class under offline TC mode but can watch recorded video if available online. Once the course has started, class time cannot be changed.
  4. In the very unlikely event, it’s necessary to cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you by email with as much notice as possible. We will not be responsible for any financial loss. expenses such as accommodation or travel due to a cancelled event. In this case, a substitute for the training delivery method will be offered (such as alternative dates/live online where possible). If a refund is agreed in writing, we will issue the refund within 30 days and may deduct the administration charge.
  5. Once the student enrolled and Paid in full or deposit and wish to cancel the class no refund will be given once the course materials has been distributed or online access provided to students for prior preparation for the training (including remotely setting up or configuring of student’s laptop/work station for the training, cloud access to resources/study materials). The student has the option to reschedule the class or where appropriate live online can be substituted
  6. If a customer would like to make any suggestion or complain regarding their online training delivery session, it must be made within 1 hour of commencing the training so we can take further action to resolve the issue. For the classroom, it must be made within 3 hours.
  7. The terms and conditions are subject to change.

ADMISSION:

  1. Admission to STIC INFOTECH is subject to availability of the centre(s), tutor(s), course(s) and the suitability of students.
  1. STIC INFOTECH may refuse admission to any student it may reasonably deem to be unfit for the course.
  1. STIC INFOTECH may choose to hold an assessment sessions prior to enrolling a student onto a course & has the right to charge for this service.
  1. Attendance to a taster session does not guarantee a place on a course.
  1. Due to limited spaces, STIC INFOTECH often works on a “first come, first served” basis. The centre reserves the right to allocate a reserved space to another student if full payment has not been made.
  1. A place on the course is only confirmed once full course payment has been received (or in some cases, when the registration fee is received).
  1. STIC INFOTECH reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking (even after full payment has been made) for reasons such as, but not limited to, overbooked sessions, tutor availability or unforeseeable circumstances.

Examinations & Certification

  1. Certifications are only provided after successfully qualifying Examination when the course has specifically been advertised as an “accredited” course which issues certificates/qualifications. All courses labeled as “accredited” are so through an awarding body such as the NSDC/Ministries/SSCs/Govt. Body or Govt. Association/NGOs/Accredited Private/NGO organizations etc, unless specified otherwise.
  1. Additional costs may accrue if more than 1 examinations is required (e.g. in the event of failing a course, or missing examinations.
  1. Additional costs may accrue if more than 1 certificate is required for the same course (e.g. when a second print/proof of the qualification is required in case of damage or loss). The cost for this is currently INR 250/- but may change without prior notice.
  1. No certificates or qualifications are issued unless:
  2. The candidate has successfully completed the course.
    b. The candidate has successfully passed assessment process.
    c. Full payment for the entire course has been paid
  1. If a student misses out on too many sessions through late arrival, early departure or missing lessons, STIC INFOTECH reserves the right to request the student to attend additional lessons, which may accrue additional costs.

ONLINE SESSIONS

  1. Online sessions refers to studying a course outside of STIC INFOTECH
  • Students, or their guardians, are responsible for ensuring they have access to the required hardware and software to study the course. This includes, but not limited to, computers, laptops, Tablets, Smart Phone, monitors, apps, programs, internet connections, headsets, microphones and gears. All expenses are to be paid for by the student or their guardian. STIC INFOTECH holds no responsibilities to cover the cost for this in any way or form. This includes, but not limited to, paying the supplying company or individual, reimbursements or discounts.
  1. Students, or their guardians, are responsible to ensure a stable internet connection is available when joining online classes.
  1. Students must be in a quiet room away from any distractions or noise.
  1. Parents may need to be present to help students with any technical difficulties.
  1. STIC INFOTECH tutors or representatives will have the right to mute or remove students from online classrooms if they reasonably deem it to be in the interest of the company or other students.

AUTHORITY, SUSPENSION & EXPULSION

  1. STIC INFOTECH reserves right to take steps it reasonably believes to be necessary to maintain discipline, ensure safety and wellbeing of staff, students & equipment.
  1. STIC INFOTECH reserves the right to suspend or remove any student whose attendance, work or behavior is, in their reasonable opinion, unsatisfactory. Under such circumstances, STIC INFOTECH will be under no obligation to return any fees & will have the right to demand payments for any unpaid sessions already delivered.

DIRECT DEBITS

  1. By setting up a direct debit, you provide your consent to STIC INFOTECH to initiate a payment or series of payments of your behalf.
  1. The default anticipated frequency of payments is once a month, however the exact frequency will be displayed when you’re setting up your direct debit plan.
  1. The amount to be taken from your account will be displayed to you when setting up your direct debit plan.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOING AT STIC INFOTECH

  1. From time to time STIC INFOTECH will take photos, videos, audio recording, interviews, written reviews & feedback of children during their time with us.
  1. This content is solely for the use of advertising and marketing which may appear on third party material such as websites and leaflets.
  1. By enrolling your child into a course with us, you are providing your consent to this. For further information on this or to opt out please email us detailing this to: [email protected].
  1. Please provide the following information in your email: Name of Child, Course Booked & Date of Booking

PERSONAL PROPERTY

  1. It is advisable that students do not bring with them any valuables.
    2. STIC INFOTECH holds no responsibility for the loss and damage of any personal property.

PROCESSING INFORMATION

STIC INFOTECH will ensure that your data is processed fairly and lawfully. We will process information only where:

  1. the law allows us to, or
    2. you have given your consent, or
    3. we have received a court order

ENSURING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS SAFE AND ACCURATE

  1. STIC INFOTECH ensures that information held on our computer systems and in our paper filing systems is secure to guard against unauthorized or unlawful processing or accidental loss, destruction of, or damage to personal data.
  1. In order to carry out its functions, STIC INFOTECH may receive information about you from others or give information to others, but we can only do this in accordance with the law.
  1. Any third parties from whom we receive personal data or to whom we pass personal data are also required to comply with the Data Protection Act.
  1. STIC INFOTECH only collects and records personal information that is necessary to carry out its functions, nothing more.
  1. The information that we record is based on fact and, where opinion is recorded, it is relevant and backed up.

DATA SHARING

  1. STIC INFOTECH will only share personal data with those organizations that it is legally required to, and where sharing personal data is necessary we will comply with the Data Protection Act
